The Texas Longhorns have taken one small step towards potentially landing one of the nation’s premier 2020 offensive tackle prospects.
On Wednesday, coveted 2020 Memphis (Tenn.) Freedom Prep Academy offensive tackle Chris Morris trimmed his list of 33 offers to just 12 finalists, and Texas remains in the mix. Morris named Memphis, Florida State, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee, Purdue, and Arkansas as the other team’s he’ll continue to consider from this point forward.
LSU, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State and Mississippi State were among the 21 schools Morris left on the outside looking in.
