The Texas Longhorns have put an offer on the table for another highly coveted out-of-state prospect.
Four-star 2020 High Point (N.C.) Southwest Guilford strong-side defensive end Myles Murphy, who’s been on a hot streak as of late as far as offers are concerned, notched an invitation from Texas on Thursday afternoon, he announced on Twitter.
Throughout the month of January alone, Murphy has garnered opportunities from Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Syracuse, Texas A&M, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. But seeing that Murphy is from North Carolina, there are programs in surrounding areas like Clemson, North Carolina State, North Carolina, and South Carolina that are known for producing high-caliber defensive ends into the NFL.
