The Longhorns couldn't mount a late comeback Saturday afternoon in Athens and fell to Georgia, 98-88, in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. It was a basketball rematch for the two schools after the Longhorns defeated the Bulldogs on the football field in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1.
Texas is now 11-9 overall and has lost five of its last six games.
