The Longhorns' three-game winning streak was snapped on Tuesday night in Stillwater with a 61-58 loss to Oklahoma State. Texas dropped to 10-5 on the season and 2-1 in Big 12 play.
Here are three takeaways from Tuesday's game:
1. Texas' poor first half one of the worst of the season
Oklahoma State dominated the first half with some hot shooting from beyond the arc, while the Longhorns were stagnant and looked completely lost and discombobulated on the offensive end at times.
Take roughly the last two minutes of the first half, for example, when the Longhorns committed five turnovers on the offensive end, including a stretch of three straight in about 52 seconds, thanks to poor passes and miscommunication.
