Another Texas Longhorns target is taking his talents out of state and across the Red River.
On Sunday, Carrollton Ranchview athlete Michael Henderson, who’s had a Texas offer in hand since late last July, announced his commitment to the Oklahoma Sooners, which has long been his projected landing place.
Henderson’s commitment comes on the heels of his weekend unofficial visit to Norman.
A three-star talent currently ranked as the nation’s No. 358 player and No. 26 athlete, per the 247Sports Composite, Henderson wasn’t without an abundance of options, owning 22 offers. Last November, Henderson trimmed that list to six finalist, which featured Texas, Florida, Nebraska, SMU, Texas A&M, and, of course, Oklahoma.
