The Texas Longhorns continue to make a statement with out-of-state prospects, as they’ve found their way onto numerous top schools lists throughout the week.
The latest recruit to name Texas a contender is Memphis (Tenn.) White Station offensive tackle Ray Curry Jr. On Wednesday afternoon, Curry released his top 12 schools that he will be focusing on during the remainder of his recruiting process. The Longhorns were mentioned next to Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Memphis, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Tom Herman and his staff extended an offer to Curry nearly a year ago, but he has yet to visit the Forty Acres.
