The Texas Longhorns got their quarterback as Austin High signal caller Charles Wright submitted his letter of intent to officially become a Longhorn.
The 6’, 194-pound pro-style quarterback was a fall flip for the Longhorns, after Wright committed to the Iowa State Cyclones in February. A local product, Wright joined the class in August to add a much-needed quarterback to the group.
Wright was an immediate priority for the staff after Jalen Milroe announced his decommitment from the Longhorns, with Texas giving him an opportunity to play at his dream school.
