The offensive line class for the Texas Longhorns in the 2021 cycle is now down to two pledges with Friday’s decommitment from Jacksonville (Fla.) Bishop Kenny center Michael Myslinski.
The decommitment from the 6’2, 285-pounder becomes the most recent fallout from the uncertainty surrounding the job security of head coach Tom Herman, who is actually still employed on the Forty Acres despite the high-profile miss on Urban Meyer last weekend.
Turns out that type of thing is bad for recruiting.
Myslinski committed to Texas in early August, but his limited ties to the school couldn’t survive all the speculation about Herman’s future with Early Signing Day looming next week.
