The Texas Longhorns took a significant step with a talented 2020 target on Tuesday, as Carrolton Ranchview athlete Michael Henderson named Texas in his top six. Florida, Nebraska, Oklahoma, SMU, and Texas A&M were named as the other teams still standing in his recruitment.
The Dallas-area standout holds 18 total offers, with Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, Oregon, TCU, Washington, and Texas Tech among those excluded from his top six.
Henderson has made a pair of trips to Texas for a July 31 camp, which led to the three-star prospect netting an offer from the Longhorns, and then more recently for Texas’ 37-14 win over USC.
