10 men named to first team, most in school history

The Big 12 Conference announced its 2015 Academic All-Big 12 Track & Field Teams on Tuesday and the Texas Longhorns came away with 25 honorees. A total of 19 of those were named to the first team for Texas as the league recognized 211 student-athletes overall.

Texas landed 10 men on the first team and two on the second team. The women's team had nine make both the first team and second teams.

The 10 Longhorns on the first team for the men, was tops in the conference for the men while Kansas led overall with 13 combined.
