AUSTIN, Texas – Twenty-four Longhorns were honored by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as Scholar All-Americans for the 2017-18 season.
Student-Athletes must attain a 3.5 grade point average or better while in competition for their respective school and compete at the NCAA Championships in order to be recognized as a Scholar All-American. The CSCAA also named 1,137 student-athletes who maintained a 3.5 grade point average and completed a "B" standard time or competed at a NCAA Regional or Zone Diving qualifier as Honorable Mention selections.
Members of the Texas Swimming and Diving teams will begin competition at the USA Swimming Nationals in Irvine, California tomorrow morning at the William Woollett, Jr.
