After one of the most decorated careers in Texas Longhorns history that included winning the 2024 Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy, left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. is set to become the offensive lineman for the Longhorns selected in the first round since Mike Williams was the fourth overall pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2002.
With little left to prove and no other awards to win, Banks opted to enter the NFL Draft and fulfill a lifelong journey of playing professional football.
Banks Jr. hails from Humble Atascosita and was a consensus five-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class ranked as the No.
