Texas Longhorns wide receiver Adonai Mitchell will his name called in Detroit at the 2024 NFL Draft as the sure-handed deep threat will provide speed, athleticism, and contested catch-making abilities to whichever team drafts him.
Like several other Longhorns eligible for the draft, Mitchell did not begin his career in burnt orange, electing to play for Georgia and winning two national championships before transferring to Texas. At both schools, he demonstrated a unique knack to perform best in critical situations and games.
While at Georgia, Mitchell secured a 40-yard touchdown that propelled the Bulldogs to victory in the national championship game against the Crimson Tide in 2021, ultimately scoring a touchdown in all four College Football Playoff games in which he appeared at Georgia.
