The recruiting fallout for the Texas Longhorns continued in the 2022 class on Thursday with the decommitment announcement from Lancaster wide receiver Phaizon Wilson, who announced his decision on Twitter.
The 6’4, 210-pounder picked up his offer from the Longhorns back in April despite the fact that he played sparingly as a sophomore thanks to a talented and experienced wide receivers corps at Lancaster.
At that point, Wilson had already picked up offers from schools like Texas Tech, Kansas, Florida, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, and Ole Miss.
