It continues to look like the Fourth of July on the Forty Acres as the Texas Longhorns created more recruiting fireworks on Wednesday with the commitment of 2021 Denton Ryan athlete Billy Bowman.
The 5’10, 175-pounder pledged to Texas over offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Oregon, TCU, and others — Bowman holds more than 25 offers at the time of his commitment to the Longhorns. So this was another significant recruiting coup for head coach Tom Herman and his staff.
Bowman is a three-sport athlete — football, basketball, and track and field — who could play on either side of the field for Texas.
