The raw four star cornerback from Aldine makes the fifth DB commitment for the 2020 recruiting class and the 18th recruit overall. The Longhorns remain holding at #6 in the nation overall, just behind Georgia and a good distance from 7th ranked Auburn.
Eaton has the long frame and wingspan (seriously, guy can tie his shoes while standing) that coaches covet at cornerback and he demonstrates good quickness and comfort in space. His power, physicality and explosiveness will get better as he fills out his skinny 6-2, 175 pound body, but you can’t teach the ball skills and length he demonstrates from the cornerback and wide receiver positions.
