Texas received a verbal commitment from their lucky 13th of the 2019 class in 4 star WR DeMariyon Houston from Millwood, OK. The Oklahoma 6-0, 165 pound track star (10.7 100 meters, 21.4 200 meters as a junior) is a speedy splinter who projects well to the slot or Z receiver position.
Houston is the sixth out of state commitment for Tom Herman and Texas has not been shy about leaving the state to fill needs. Houston’s commitment is a bit of a surprise given the embarrassment of riches in-state at wide receiver, but the 2nd best ranked prospect in Oklahoma was clearly a player the staff coveted.
