It came and it went without a bang for the Texas Longhorns football program. The 2019 NFL Draft was once again a hapless set of three days for Texas football coming off a strong finish to the 2018 campaign. This wasn’t the worse result we’ve seen in general for the Longhorns in the NFL Draft. The 2014 NFL Draft was much better all-around since Texas football didn’t have a single player selected that year for the first time since 1937.
However, the 2019 NFL Draft was still a pretty big letdown by any consideration or standard for the Longhorns.
