The Texas Longhorns have landed a commitment from four-star athlete Montrell Estell. He announced his decision on Twitter.

The Longhorns beat out Texas A&M, Baylor and Alabama to land Estell. The Aggies were actually considered the favorite to land Estell, making this a bit of a surprise.
The Hooks, Texas native checks in at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. A four-star recruit, Estell can play wide receiver or defensive back. His college position is unclear at the moment.
Estell is the No. 144 overall player according to 247Sports. He's the No. 8 athlete and the No. 20 player from the state of Texas. Keeping the talented player in-state is a big pickup for head coach Charlie Strong. A highlight tape of Estell is embedded below.
