With exactly two weeks until National Signing Day, here is an update on how the 2015 Texas recruiting class is shaping up.
Over the weekend, 3-star athlete Louis Brown and 4-star athlete Tim Irvin decommited from the Texas Longhorns. Louis Brown and Charlie Strong mutually agreed that going there separate ways would be in the best interest for both parties. With a spew of linebackers in the class, it would have been hard for Brown to find time on the field thus leading to the end of that relationship. Irvin on the other hand, who was scheduled to enroll early on Tuesday, had a late change of heart after his official visit to Auburn over the weekend. With no time to really think about his decision, Irvin flipped immediately after his visit Sunday night. If losing Tim Irvin wasn't enough, his close friend and Texas commit DB Davante Davis will now visit Auburn prior to national signing day. It is unknown how solid Davis' commitment is to Texas at the moment, but one has to be a bit worried about losing another crucial defensive back in the 2015 class.
