The Texas Longhorns have placed a heavy emphasis on tight ends in the 2016 recruiting class, and they offered another target Wednesday night.
Zarrian Holcombe (Summer Creek, TX), who gave a verbal commitment to Texas A&M in March, picked up the latest offer from the Longhorns.
Texas is trying to lure him away from the Aggies in hopes that they can utilize his size and soft hands over the middle.
The 6-foot-5, 215 pounder is ranked as the No. 15 tight end in the country, and also holds offers from California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, and several others others.
Texas has now offered seven tight ends in the 2016 class.
