Texas Longhorns four-star defensive tackle commit Du'Vonte Lampkin took his official visit to Austin this weekend, along with several key targets for the Longhorns in the Class of 2015.
During his visit, he apparently received some information that hasn't been made public as of yet, and took to Twitter to tease a surprise:
I Know something everyone else doesn't, just sit back and let the days go by #LetsRide
— Call Me Deebs‼️ (@DeeChilllin) January 25, 2015
As 247Sports' Chance Linton points out, "Lampkin's tweet comes after a week of speculation regarding some of the state's top recruits possibly ending up at Texas. One of those recruits, Gladewater five-star defensive tackle Daylon Mack, was with Lampkin this weekend for the official visit. A couple of the others, Allen five-star quarterback Kyler Murray (a Texas A&M commit) and uncommitted Cedar Hill four-star wide receiver DaMarkus Lodge, created quite a stir when they took an unofficial visit to Austin."
Whatever it is, the secret can't be kept for too long as National Signing Day is on February 4th.
