Offensive lineman Parker Boudreaux (Orlando Fla., Bishop Moore Catholic) received his 57th scholarship offer this past weekend when the Texas Longhorns threw their name in the hat for the four-star prospect.
As posted on 247Sports, Boudreaux announced the offer on his personal Twitter account accompanied by a picture of Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
According to 247Sports' Crystal Ball feature, Boudreaux is likely to choose between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Florida Gators. Notre Dame is currently garnering 66.7 percent of the Crystal Ball predictions will Florida has 33.3% to its credit.
Boudreaux is ranked as the #6 guard in the country by 247Sports and the #27 recruit in the entire state of Florida according to the website's full Composite Rankings.
It is unknown as of this time if Texas' entrance into the fray will be a game-changer, but the excitement he showed when announcing the offer means they likely have a chance at getting a commitment.
