The Texas Longhorns had a great night collectively in Stillwater against the Oklahoma State Cowboys, but the game didn't come without its costs.
Per Joseph Zucker of Bleacher Report, "the only bad news for head coach Charlie Strong is the injury to wideout Jaxon Shipley. According to ESPN Texas, the senior will be out for the rest of the game after hurting his leg."
No update on Shipley's full condition had been given at the time of this writing. However, if he is lost for an extended period of time, it will be a huge blow for a Texas team that has clawed itself to bowl eligibility.
Shipley entered Saturday night's game as the team's second-leading receiver with 54 receptions for 538 yards and a touchdown. His dynamic skill set and dependability has been huge for young quarterback Tyrone Swoopes and his confidence in taking over the Longhorns' attack.
