The Texas Longhorns had a very successful Early Signing Period, signing 19 of their 23 commitments to secure their place as the No. 3 recruiting class in the country. However, recruiting the 2018 class isn't done with traditional signing day on Feb. 7 still looming. Four players (Keondre Coburn, Keaontay Ingram, Michael Williams, Daniel Carson) are all currently committed and have yet to sign, but here are three currently uncommitted prospects they can still land:
3) WR Joshua Moore - 40 percent change to sign
The former Nebraska pledge decommitted following Mike Riley's firing and took an official visit to Austin shortly thereafter. Florida State, Oregon, and Texas A&M are also in the mix for the talented 6-foot-1, 170-pounder, whose speed in his biggest asset. His recruitment is still very much up in the air right now, but he's expected to stay in-state - with the Longhorns expected to have a legitimate shot.
2) WR Jaylen Waddle - 5 percent chance to sign
Speaking of speed, the 5-foot-10, 175-pound Waddle has it in spades. He projects to be an excellent slot receiver at the Power 5 level, and unsurprisingly, that has drawn interest from several teams. Alabama and Texas A&M (since hiring Jimbo Fisher) are really trending up in his recruitment, while Texas is trying to catch both of those schools.
1) QB Tanner McKee - 2 percent chance to sign
The 6-foot-6, 220-pounder is the top uncommitted quarterback remaining and Texas is one of the final schools in the mix for him. He's a true pocket passer with a big arm, but McKee also has surprising speed and athleticism that allows him to avoid the rush and make plays on the move. However, it will be a shock if he picks someone other than Stanford - but crazier things have happened.
