The Texas A&M Aggies have been going through a period of unheaval over the past few weeks, especially with blue-chip quarterbacks Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray transferring out of the program.
Most experts were convinced that Allen and Murray's transfers were a signal of an upcoming shake-up on the offensive coaching staff, and they were right as the Aggies have announced the departure of offensive coordinator Jake Spavital.
Per Joe Schad of ESPN:

The two sides "mutually decided" to part ways, per a team announcement. Spavital completed his second season as the Aggies' offensive coordinator in 2015 and his third in the capacity of quarterbacks coach.
"I want to thank Jake for his time here and for his important role in our program," head coach Kevin Sumlin said. "He is a bright, young coach with a tremendous future in coaching and we wish him all of the best in his career."
The Aggies are already conducting a search for a new offensive coordinator, and could be looking for a new head coach as well if rumors of Kevin Sumlin's desire to jump to the NFL prove true.
