Texas A&M has lost a pair of its top recruits, and become the target of many more incoming college football players around the country, after Aggies receivers coach Aaron Morehead went on a Twitter rant Wednesday night about loyalty. The tweets were sent out just after Tate Martell, the No. 3 dual-thread quarterback in the 2017 class, decommitted from the program.
After talking with my family about

what is best for my future, I have
decided to reopen my recruiting
process.
I feel sorry for ppl who never understand loyalty. I can't really even vibe with u. At the end of the day trust is 100 & everything else is BS

Moorehead suggested that he wasn't talking about Martell in a later tweet, but the damage was done. Four-star wide receiver Mannie Netherly decommited from A&M, and five-star wideout Tyjon Lindsey made it clear that the Aggies were off his short list.
Morehead issued an apology on Thursday morning, but whether or not this salvages the rest of his program's recruiting season remains to be seen.
