Texas A&M women’s basketball signee Danni Williams was named an All-American by Parade Magazine, the publication announced on Friday. Williams was one of 30 girls’ basketball players to be named to the team.
Williams, a 5-10 guard from Clovis (N.M.) High School, was rated as the seventh-best guard, and 38th-best player, in the 2015 recruiting class by ESPN. The five-star prospect was New Mexico’s first three-time winner of the Gatorade Player of the Year award. Williams is also a three-time First Team All-State selection.
The Aggies went 23-10 in 2014-15, and appeared in the NCAA Tournament for the 10th consecutive season.
