With another SEC road trip upcoming, No. 2 Aggies grab victory in series finale at No. 1 LSU

No. 2 Texas A&M was in danger of losing a precious amount of its momentum gained from a tremendous first 40-or-so games this season, after dropping the first two games of its key Southeastern Conference series at No. 1 LSU this weekend.

The Aggies’ bats came through, however, and A&M won the series finale 6-2 on Saturday evening, in a rain-delayed contest in Baton Rouge, La. The Aggies won their first five SEC series this season, but have dropped their last two, including last weekend in dropping two of three against Arkansas in College Station.

A&M, however, has not been swept this season, and is now 30 games over .
