Days before the men's basketball season started, Texas A&M coach Billy Kennedy said Robert Williams might be one of the greatest to play in College Station.
Kennedy's praise came in early November, before the 6-9 freshman forward had played a single minute of collegiate basketball. At the time, Kennedy's words were just something to file away as a young team prepared for the upcoming season.
Many games and weeks later, Williams is showing why Kennedy issued those remarks a few months ago and why the Aggies could be talking about Williams in the past tense next preseason.
