'We're in their state': Texas A&M's marquee game against North Carolina showcase two opposite programs

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Minutes after Texas A&M clinched their spot in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, the empty seats inside the Spectrum Center in Charlotte started to fill in with shades of Carolina Blue.

The crowd that was missing for A&M's first-round win over Providence showed up to see the local team, North Carolina, beat Lipscomb.

Sunday's game between 2-seed North Carolina and the seventh-seeded Aggies feels like a game steeped in opposites between the two programs, from their respective history and fandom to the styles in play.

All of it will be on full display in an atmosphere that will feel more like a road game instead of a neutral-site affair, a setting and situation the Aggies plan on embracing.
