Texas A&M got some special teams help towards the end of the first half to keep Louisiana-Monroe from hanging around too close.
Defensive tackle Daylon Mack blocked a Warhawks' 28-yard field goal attempt, which was then taken 78-yards for a touchdown by linebacker Tyrel Dodson with 1:21 left in the first half.
The special teams touchdown was a big momentum swing for the Aggies. ULM had drove down to the A&M 9-yard line before being stalled. Instead of potentially see the game be a tight 17-10 contest, the Aggies created some breathing room by going up 21 points.
