Texas A&M hasn't looked like the No. 4 team in the new College Football Playoff rankings to start off Saturday's game. After a questionable roughing the passer penalty on Daeshon Hall, Mississippi State took a 14-0 advantage over the Aggies in the first quarter.
Hall appeared to hit quarterback Nick Fitzgerald after he releasing the football out of his hands. Without the penalty, the Bulldogs would've faced a 4th and Goal at the four-yard line. Instead, MSU scored on a two-yard run by Aeris Williams on the next play.
Here's the roughing the passer penalty.
The Bulldogs lead 14-7 at the end of the first quarter.
