COLLEGE STATION, Texas –Texas A&M softball freshman Tori Vidales led the Aggies to their second Southeastern Conference series sweep last weekend and was named the SEC Freshman of the Week for her efforts, the conference office announced today.
Vidales was vital at the plate last week for the Aggies, who finished SEC play at .500 for the first time since joining the league in 2012-13. After the final weekend of conference play, Vidales is tied for second in the league in home runs, with 18, and walks, with 45.
