When you have so many talented individuals competing for a spot, as is the case with Texas A&M’s receivers and defensive linemen, people can get overlooked. But it’s those overlooked guys who truly can make your football team great. Whether the fans acknowledge them as valued commodities or not, those players are invaluable pieces of the puzzle.
Here are two underrated players for Texas A&M. Their stats might not show it, but what these guys do, game in and game out, is huge.
WR Ricky Seals-Jones: Maybe it’s that he’s surrounded by talents such as Christian Kirk and Josh Reynolds, or perhaps, it’s that most of his best games come in losses – last season, Seals-Jones caught TD passes in four games, and Texas A&M lost three of them.
