Texas A&M still has some big targets remaining in the 2021 recruiting class, but that didn’t stop them from looking even further into the future, as they got their first commit in the 2022 class on Sunday in four-star Katy defensive end Malick Sylla.
Malick is on the verge of being a five-star recruit (and was at one point), currently ranked as the No. 37 prospect in the country, the No. 3 weakside defensive end and the No. 7 player in Texas. He is also teammates with cornerback Bobby Taylor, another big A&M target, and 2021 Aggie commit Fernando Garza.
