Sunday morning was busy bright and early at Kyle Field as Texas A&M hosted its media day featuring head coach Jimbo Fisher, coordinators Darrell Dickey and Mike Elko, as well as a host of players.
Here are three takeaways from the Aggies' media day:
Texas A&M's offensive coordinator Darrell Dickey knows college football's offenses are evolving. More points are scored, more yards are being accumulated, and use of the field is expanding.
Yet, after coming to A&M from Memphis, he has seen the Aggies' offense adapt to changing times while staying true to old ways.
"We make you defend the entire field, but we're a mixture of some old-school philosophies and principles," Dickey said.
