Starting June 30, some of college football's top prospects will descend on Frisco for arguably the biggest event on the summer recruiting circuit.
At Nike's The Opening Finals, over 150 high school players will learn and compete against each other in an event that provides exposure to those on both sides.
The players get a chance to showcase their skills on an ESPN-affiliated network and gain the prestige that comes with playing at the event. Meanwhile, in an era when shoe companies wage war for the soles of teenage boys, Nike receives heavy promotional exposure as the event's flagship sponsor.
