FORT WORTH – The fact that Texas A&M pitcher Tyler Stubblefield is even pitching at all this season is incredible to just about anyone not named Tyler Stubblefield. But when he tore his ACL in his left knee days prior to the start of the season during an intrasquad game, Stubblefield set his mind to helping out his team this year.

“I knew I’d be back around this time,” said Stubblefield, who bypassed on the opportunity to redshirt after playing as a true freshman last year.
