Texas A&M’s Ogbuehi projects as late first-round selection in NFL Draft

COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M has had at least one player selected in the NFL Draft’s first round for the past four years, already a school record.

The Aggies are going for five straight on Thursday night, as offensive lineman Cedric Ogbuehi projects as a likely late first-round selection. Ogbuehi tore his ACL in the Aggies’ Liberty Bowl victory over West Virginia and didn’t take part in drills at the NFL Combine, but as A&M coach Kevin Sumlin has pointed out, NFL personnel has seen enough video of Ogbuehi to know he could develop into a long-time offensive tackle in the pros.
