All season, Texas A&M junior Braden Mann was the nation's leading punter.
Now, he has the trophy to cement that honor. On Thursday, Mann won the Ray Guy Award, which goes to the top punter in the country. The honor was announced during the annual college football awards ceremony in Atlanta.
Mann becomes the first Aggie to win the honor and the first A&M player in six years to win one of college football's year-end honors for on-field performance (quarterback Trevor Knight won the Wuerffel Trophy in 2016, which is based on community service).
Mann also becomes the second player from the state of Texas to win that award in as many years.
