Texas A&M women’s basketball: Chennedy Carter dominant in run to Sweet 16

Gary Blair has had one of the more underrated but successful runs as a college basketball head coach. He’s led the Texas A&M women’s basketball team to three conference championships, 14 straight NCAA tournament appearances, advanced to the Sweet 16 sevent times, Elite 8 three times, Final Four once and won the national championship that year in 2011.

A number of excellent players have come through the Aggie program in that time, but perhaps none have been as scintillating a scorer as Chennedy Carter. She set the school record with a 46-point game against USC and also has the fourth and fifth best scoring games in school history.
