Texas A&M University will conduct internal and external reviews of its student disciplinary process.

The external review will be conducted by an independent third party. The second review will be carried out by by an internal task force

University President Michael K. Young said in a statement.

On June 7, a Texas A&M student tweeted that she had reported to the university that a member of the men's swimming and diving team had raped her, and that the swimmer was back with the team.
