Fans who come to games at Kyle Field will have more drinking options this fall.
On Thursday, Texas A&M announced it will sell beer and wine at football games this season. The decision comes less than two weeks after the SEC established a conference-wide policy that allowed the sale of those specific beverages at sporting events.
"This is another way we are enhancing the amenities at Kyle Field," A&M interim athletic director R.C. Slocum said in a statement issued by the university.
A&M will test the new policy during the football season before it potentially expands drink options at other sporting events around campus.
