FORT WORTH – Texas A&M’s Mike Barash, worn down from catching 16 innings starting Monday night and ending early Tuesday morning, knew he’d be reliving the game just played in not only the days ahead, but for months to come.
“It’s going to sting because we have to hang on this one for a while,” Barash said. “But we’re going to remember how this feels, and how we feel right now.”
A&M and TCU had just wrapped up a classic college baseball game in a deciding third game of an NCAA tournament super regional, which the Horned Frogs won 5-4 in the bottom of the 16th on a throwing error from third base to home.
