JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One of Texas A&M's starting defensive backs was not in uniform for Tuesday's bowl practice.
Senior safety Donovan Wilson did not participate during the early portion of the Aggies' practice for next week's Gator Bowl against N.C. State. While the rest of the team stretched on the main practice field at the University of North Florida, Wilson stretched on a separate field with a team staffer.
Wilson started 11 of 12 regular-season games for the Aggies at free safety. He is second on the team in total tackles and has a team-high two interceptions.
