Editor's note: This is the fifth of a five-part series examining potential breakout players for the Texas A&M Aggies this spring.
Spring football is upon us, which means this is the first chance for new recruits and players trying to crack the rotation to impress the coaching staff. Who could that be for Texas A&M? Here is breakout candidate No. 1:
Bobby Brown III
Year: Sophomore
Position: Defensive tackle
2018 Stats: Played in all 13 games, 14.0 tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss
As a true freshman, Brown cracked the defensive end rotation as a key backup, which was quite impressive given the Aggies' considerable depth and experience on a talented defensive line.
