COLLEGE STATION -- Texas A&M smoked by South Carolina's strong 3-point shooting in the Aggies' (13-16, 6-11 SEC) 71-54 loss Tuesday night at Reed Arena.
Here are three takeaways from the Aggies' 17-point defeat:
Gamecocks grill Aggies from 3-point range
Billy Kennedy was certain South Carolina couldn't match it's single-game school record number of 3-pointers (16), as the Gamecocks did in their 84-77 win over the Aggies on Feb. 16.
But Kennedy also knew, "they're capable," the Aggies' head man told reporters Monday afternoon.
Carolina was capable, cruising past the Aggies via the long ball.
