Texas A&M had a strong Super Bowl Sunday on the recruiting trail after hosting a large event, picking up a pair of commitments from 2020 defensive backs.
Early in the afternoon, Major Burns, a 3-star safety from Baton Rouge, Louisiana announced his commitment to the Aggies.
"First off I want to thank god for putting my family and I in this great position next I want to thank all of the coach's who have believed in me throughout this process, I want to give a special thanks to my mother for stepping up when my father passed away and my older brother Dakota for stepping up as a father figure, with that being said I will be committing to the Texas A&M University," Burns wrote in a Twitter post.
