FORT WORTH – The lone NCAA tournament super regional in the state is coming down to a final game, with a berth in the College World Series on the line for a couple of Texas schools.
Texas A&M, behind a gem from starter Matt Kent and a game-winning sacrifice fly by Blake Allemand in the 10th inning, defeated TCU 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Lupton Stadium. The Horned Frogs won the Saturday opener 13-4 in the best-of-three series, and now the teams will play a final contest Monday for the right to head to Omaha, Neb., later this week.
